Roy 'Chubby' Brown walks off stage at Welsh gig due to hecklers

Outrageous comic Roy "Chubby" Brown was forced off stage at a gig by a group of hecklers.

The controversial stand-up walked off stage when audience members got hostile.

Chubby Brown - real name Roy Vasey - said the gig was eventually ruined by people "determined to spoil the show."

Audience member Andy Snowden said: "It started with someone whistling, he made a joke about it and loads of people did it.

"The heckling started so he walked off."

Chubby, 71, returned to stage at Glyndwr University in Wrexham, after his walk-out to finish the show.
