The Sinclair C5 is one of the most eccentric vehicles ever built - and throughout its short life it was manufactured in Wales.

In this archive footage from 1985, HTV reporter Nick Partridge takes it for a spin, and watches as members of the public have a chance to ride it too.

The vehicles were made at the Hoover plant in Merthyr Tydfil.
