Swansea Blitz remembered 75 years on
Today marks 75 years since the Swansea Blitz when the city was bombed by the Luftwaffe of Nazi Germany during the Second World War.
February 1941 saw three solid nights of bombing, in which 227 people were killed and thousands of homes and businesses damaged.
Donald Hanney survived the bombings and remembers seeing the sky 'lit up' with 'search lights going and explosions everywhere.'
