Discovery of dinosaur on Welsh beach hits US headlines, but maybe someone should tell them Wales isn't in England

The discovery of a new dinosaur on a Welsh beach has hit the headlines across the pond, but maybe someone should give them a geography lesson.

Earlier this week, we met the Nick and Rob Hanigan who found the fossilised skeleton on Lavernock Beach in Penarth. The dinosaur was named 'Dracoraptor Hanigani' after the brothers.

It made the headlines on US news channel ABC 7, but it seems the presenters got a little confused when it came to where Wales actually is, stating the fossil was found off the south coast of 'Wales in England.'
