Children across Wales are taking part in events to mark Tim Peake's spacewalk today.

He will become the first British astronaut to do a spacewalk.

Tim Peake is expected to be out in space for over six hours while carrying out maintenance work to the International Space Station.

He will be assisted by fellow astronaut Tim Kopra.

Children in Barry will mark the occasion by creating animations based on the ISS.

They will also use LEGO to replicate the space walk.
