Bangor named 'most international' university in Wales

Bangor University has been named among the 200 most international universities in the world, and the most international in Wales.

It beat Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle in the UK, and Harvard, Princeton and Stanford in the U.S.

The data has been published from the 'Times Higher Education World University Rankings.' and takes into account each institution's proportion of international staff and students, and the proportion of research papers published with at least one co-author from another country.

Imperial College in London ranks the highest out of UK universities, appearing at number 10 in the list.
