Homelessness charity hoping for 'best Christmas ever'

A homelessness charity in Cardiff is hoping to offer those who use it's services the best Christmas in their history.

The Huggard Centre says this year they've been overwhelmed with volunteers who have been offering to help out during the winter months.

The day centre offers emergency accommodation and shelter for people who would otherwise be forced to sleep rough.

It supports more than 1,500 homeless and vulnerable people living in South Wales.

Richard Edwards, the boss of the centre, says they've been inundated with generous donations.

They've had offers from professional chefs and local businesses offering to help out.

As well as plenty of presents being donated right the way through the Christmas period which will be handed out to those living on the streets.
