Syrian refugee in Wales: My wish for a nuclear bomb to end suffering in Syria
Hussam Allahham is a Syrian surgeon from Damascus. He fled to Cardiff a year ago.
This morning I interviewed him about his thoughts on Britain bombing ISIS in his country.
He was indifferent to the idea, saying it would just mean a new way of killing people.
He witnessed suffering. Barrel bombing, hunger and endless death. And he explained to me of the wish he had back in Syria - that a nuclear bomb would be dropped.
He believes many of his countrymen feel the same, simply so the suffering they endure would come to an end.
It's an extreme measure and one that is highly unlikely to ever happen but it's an indication of how bad the war is.
Tonight Parliament will vote on whether to bomb IS targets in Syria with conventional weapons.
