Rolling back into the 1970s, when the skateboarding phenomenon hit Wales.

Children across the country donned their knee pads and took to the streets.

Following the craze, pro-skater Paul Roberts showed off his latest trick at Rhumney High School in 1977.

Gwynedd County Council published a safety booklet 'Sglefrfyrddio' but cuts and bruises probably still happened along the way!
