Wales Rally GB gets underway in Llandudno
The Wales Rally GB opening ceremony will take place in Llandudno later, with top rally drivers from all over the world taking part in the event.
It is the third year that the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship has been held in the area.
The race will see 160 cars take on 193 miles of forest, gravel and parkland track.
Following the opening ceremony on Mostyn Street, the cars face a marathon leg in mid-Wales on Friday, before travelling on to the Deeside Service Park, Chirk Castle and Great Orme stretches on Sunday.
The winners will be crowned at the Deeside rally hub on Sunday afternoon.
