Welsh Book of Remembrance to be launched online
Wales will fall silent this morning as Armistice Day is commemorated.
A ceremony will be held at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, along with hundreds of others across the country, in marking the end of the First World War.
As part of the commemorations, an exhibition featuring stories of soldiers and their families during World War One will be on display.
The 'National Assembly for Wales Remembers' exhibition is a collection of personal memories and artefacts from Assembly Members and staff whose ancestors served in the Great War.
Also on display will be the Welsh Book of Remembrance, which has been digitised using newly developed software, and will be formally unveiled in the Senedd at noon.
It contains the names of all 35,000 Welsh servicemen who lost their lives.
With the help of volunteers it's hoped people across Wales will be able to access the thousands of names online.
