'I like to think somebody remembers him': 94-year-old veteran's Remembrance tribute to lost comrade

A special service has been held to commemorate the thousands of Welsh military personnel who've passed away after serving their country.

Some 13,000 small crosses have been laid out in Cardiff Castle -- the biggest number ever seen here in Wales.

94-year-old World War Two veteran Charlie Berry made the journey down from Wrexham to attend the ceremony.

Many of the tributes do have a name attached, left by friends and family, and others by members of the public.

Organisers say they expect the field to grow as more people bring their own tributes.
