One of Fiji's key players, Nemani Nadolo, has been suspended for a week following a dangerous tackle in yesterday's game against Australia.

The Fijian talisman denied the charge, however, at a disciplinary hearing in London today the Judicial officer upheld the citing meaning the winger will now be unavailable to face Wales this Thursday.

Taking into account mitigating factors including Nadolo's excellent disciplinary record, the suspension was reduced to a week.

The player has 48 hours in which to appeal from the time he receives the written decision, which will follow within 24 hours.

Fiji are currently fourth in Pool A having lost both of their opening Rugby World Cup matches.
