A little pack of World Cup pups are hoping to find new homes, having been named after Wales' rugby stars.

Dogs Trust Bridgend is trying to rehome five husky labrador cross puppies, who are all eight walks old and very playful.

The rescue centre is hoping to make the most of some rugby-related patriotism right now, by renaming them after some Welsh heroes.

The little scrum was brought into Dogs Trust Bridgend as their owners could no longer care for them.

These mischievous little pups are full of energy so will need active owners with a strong throw to keep them entertained. They are only eight weeks old and like any rugby team would benefit from a little extra training. The team requires active homes with owners who appreciate the demands of energetic young puppies and are at home most of the day to help them settle in. They would need homes with secure gardens to bound around in and would of course love a rugby ball to play with. The pups will be required to attend Dogs Trust training classes to help them become polite, well-adjusted adult dogs. They are super little dogs who would make the perfect pets in the right homes with committed owners who appreciate a dog is for life not just for the World Cup.
