Five-year-old Cian Morris was born without a fully-formed right hand - but scientists at Cardiff university have made him a new one for just £60, using revolutionary 3D printing technology.

Cian's mother Zoe says the new hand has improved Cian's quality of life, and enables him to do much more - including riding a bike.

The Raptor hand, as it's known, is made entirely of plastic, and allows Cian to grip things with his right hand for the first time.

Cian's parents have never been sure why their son was born without a fully-formed hand, though doctors suggest it could be a condition called amniotic band syndrome.
