Research reveals e-cigarettes are "significantly less harmful" than cigarettes. Public Health England even want them prescribed on the NHS . But the Welsh Government want to restrict their use in public spaces in the same way as normal cigarettes.
What do you think? Here's a selection of your views so far:
I have seen people on e-cigarettes and for some they are a useful aid to getting off regular cigarettes but you do see some that permanently have one of these in their mouths so probably end up taking in more nicotine than they would have with a cigarette.
I've tried everything to quit smoking, but e- cigarettes actually work for me.
I don't want to sit next/stand next to someone puffing this flavoured vapour into the air or my face and I inhale their left over vapour. If they need to use one please do it in a controlled place.
If people want to use these as a smoking device then they should be treated the same as smokers. When the vapour coming off them causes my asthma to play up, then I don't want them in shops etc.
For goodness sake. It is beyond a joke. Give us some freedom. I hate standing next to someone breathing alcohol fumes in my face. What do I do...I step back!
