Crowds flock to prestigious Welsh Cob Championships
For many visitors to the Royal Welsh Show, the highlight of the week is Wednesday - cob day.
With the grandstand full and thousands of people again surrounding the main ring, it culminated this afternoon with the Welsh Cob Championships.
The four champion cobs who have beaten hundreds of others to wi their heats, were judged again on their features and their movement.
They were competing for the prestigious George Prince of Wales Cup, which has been awarded since 1908.
And it was Mid Wales blacksmith Dorian Lloyd who celebrated victory, with his three-year-old filly Perthog Gwenan Mai.
He told us it was the pinnacle of his many years at the show.
