ITV Cymru Wales will again be at the heart of the Royal Welsh Show throughout the week.

We will broadcast live into our news programme each night, give viewers a closer look at the show's highlights and characters in our Coast & Country programme, and invite visitors into our building on the showground for special events.

WALES AT SIX:

Wales At Six will be bringing nightly live news and weather reports from the showground.

Carl Edwards will be presenting a round-up of each day's events and Ruth Wignall will be keeping an eye on the all-important weather for Wales during 'show week.'

Our reporting team of Hannah Thomas, Tom Sheldrick and Nicola Hendy will be out and about bringing all the latest news, interviews and features from Europe's biggest agricultural event.

There will also be news updates on our early, lunchtime and late bulletins as well as right here on our website.

COAST & COUNTRY:

After our programme looking ahead to the Royal Welsh Show on Friday night, we've got two more editions of Coast & Country, with all the highlights from the week on the showground, presented by Andrew Price, Hannah Thomas, Carl Edwards, Nicola Hendy and Ruth Wignall.

Tuesday 21 July, 7.30pm

As Royal Welsh week gets into full flow, Carl takes a peek around the popular Young People's Village and Ruth catches up again with green-fingered Ivor Mace, who's not only competing, but also judging in the horticulture marquee. Meanwhile, Hannah visits a herd of Highland cattle who are a long way from Scotland!

Friday 24 July, 8.00pm

The team rounds up some of the best bits from this year's show, including action from the main ring and the Wales v New Zealand sheep shearing competition. Carl breaks the golden rule to find out what it's like to work with children and animals whilst, following the excitement of last year's pole-climbing contest, Andrew and Nicky vie for the top 'bill' in another nail-biting challenge!

If you missed Friday night's programme, previewing the Royal Welsh Show, you can catch up online.

In the programme, Andrew explores the stunning countryside of this year's feature county, Gwent, whilst Hannah meets the Royal Welsh President and the Lady Ambassador to find out about the mammoth fundraising efforts that have been taking place all year to improve facilities at Llanelwedd. And Ruth goes 'potty' for an impressive Valleys' garden!
