Sam Warburton to receive honorary fellowship from Cardiff University
Welsh rugby international Sam Warburton will be honoured by Cardiff University at its annual degree ceremonies this week.
The honours are awarded to individuals who have achieved outstanding recognition in their field.
Sam Warburton will receive an Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his outstanding sporting achievements, which include being the Welsh rugby team’s most capped - and second youngest - captain in history.
ITV's Good Morning Britain presenter, Susanna Reid, novelist Philippa Gregory and Laura Tenison MBE will also receive honorary fellowships from the university.
