RWC 2015: Finals to remember
As rugby fans in Newport and Cardiff prepare to get a glimpse of the Webb Ellis Trophy today, we look back at some of the great moments in World Cup final history.
1991: The Queen prepares to present Australia's captain Nick Farr-Jones with the Webb Ellis Cup following their 12-6 win against England at Twickenham stadium.
1995: Former South African president Nelson Mandela wears a Springbok jersey and celebrates alongside South African captain Francois Pienaar.
During South Africa's apartheid regime, the country was banned from participating in sporting events. The Rugby World Cup was one of the first major events that the host nation were involved in after apartheid ended.
2003: England captain Martin Johnson holds the Webb Ellis Trophy aloft following a dramatic win against hosts Australia.
Jonny Wilkinson kicked a drop goal in the final minute of extra time, breaking a tie and sealing England's first win.
2011: Captain Richie McCaw lifts the trophy after New Zealand beat France in the last cup final.
Their victory marked the first time that a nation had held the World Cup and a Women's Rugby World Cup.
The defending champions are still the team to beat.
Eight Rugby World Cup 2015 matches will be held in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
The cup will be in Wales until Monday, you can find out where here.
