Cardiff is set to develop a new transport centre including a bus station after architects Foster and Partners were recommended to Cardiff Council's Cabinet as the preferred firm to design the project.
The proposed design will be developed on the Marland House/NCP car park site in Central Square, with a new bus interchange linking commuters to other bus, train, bike and taxi networks.
Foster and Partners' previous projects include the 'Gherkin' in London, the Reichstag parliament in Berlin and Hong Kong international airport.
