Pepperoni, anyone? David Beckham, Simon Cowell and Gary Barlow get 'pizza portraits' by Welsh artist

An artist who uses unconventional methods to recreate portraits of celebrities has revealed his latest work ahead of Father's Day.

Nathan Wyburn, who is from Ebbw Vale, has used a variety of pizza ingredients from pepperoni to jalapeños to create the impressive artwork.

Nathan's work hasn't gone unrecognised by the celebrities he illustrates.

The 25-year-old, who calls himself a pop culture portrait artist, has also made rugby legend Gareth Thomas out of mud and paid a tribute to late presenter Lynda Bellingham using just OXO cubes.

Star of hit US TV series Orange Is The New Black actress Ruby Rose took to her Instagram page to repost her own pizza portrait that received 160,000 likes.
