The former Children's Commissioner has called for councils in Wales to provide youth services by law.

Some services, like social care, have to be legally provided by local authorities, but that isn't the case with youth services.

Keith Towler says that needs to change. He says he is investing in youth workers, and that youth clubs could save money in the long term.

Figures obtained by a Freedom of Information request by ITV Wales show at least 69 clubs and 99 workers have been axed in the last 5 years as councils try and save money.
