Gower reindeer gives birth to girl calf just minutes before birth of Royal baby

A reindeer on a Christmas tree farm in the Gower has given birth to a girl calf just three minutes before the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed her daughter.

The royal reindeer was born at 8:31am this morning at Poundffald Farm in Three Crosses.

Farmers having been waiting for over a week for their seven-old-deer Brownie to give birth.

The calf, who is yet to be named, is said to be doing well and is already feeding from her mother.
