Calls for children in care to be better monitored on social media
A petition will be handed in to the National Assembly later calling for rules to prevent the use by under 13's in care of social media sites.
It is calling for regular monitoring of internet use at least once a week for looked after children that include children in care or those who are fostered.
Facebook requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account.
The petition claims underage children using sites like Facebook are being exposed to things bullying, stalking and grooming.
It also claims underage children can be exposed to marketing of illegal and age restricted products like gambling and dating.
Facebook says it will promptly delete the account of any child under the age of 13 that's reported to them.
