South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the murder of Wayne Letherby, 42, who died following a serious assault in Tonypandy last Friday night.
On Monday his family paid tribute to him saying:
Four people, who have been arrested in connection with this incident, remain in police custody, following a court extension granted to hold them for additional time.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area of De Winton Street in the late evening of 17 April 2015 and have any information to contact them.
