Jailed footballer Chris Zebroski's contract terminated by Newport County

Newport County FC has terminated striker Chris Zebroski's contract after he was jailed today for robbery and assault offences.

The 28-year-old has been sentenced to four years and four months after pleading guilty to four charges of robbery and assault with intent to commit robbery.

The charges were in relation to two separate incidents in Swindon in Wiltshire.
