Lecturers at Coleg y Cymoedd will be protesting at their Nantgarw campus near Cardiff today over proposed redundancies.
The college currently faces its third round of redundancies, with the potential for compulsory redundancies if targets aren't met.
Lecturers say it could mean significant cuts to the number of courses the college can offer particularly to part-time adult students.
138 union members passed a motion of no confidence of those in charge of leadership and governance at the college.
A spokesperson for the college said current discussions over staffing levels "are the unavoidable result of national cuts to FE funding."
Government funding for the college has been reduced by 8.22%. The Welsh Government says this reflects cuts to its own budget.
