Wales's construction industry is growing again, after being hit hard by the recession. But while more jobs are being created, the task of filling them is proving challenging.

Those who lost their jobs during the recession have found new employment, with construction companies now having to wait for apprentices to learn their trade before joining the workforce.

Between now and 2019, the number of jobs in the construction industry is expected to rise by 2.5 per cent. The challenge facing employers is how to bridge the skills gap to fill those position.
