It'll be cold and dry with sunny spells on Tuesday with sleet and snow tonight. The outbreaks of sleet and snow spreading in from the Irish Sea throughout the day and turning persistent. Minimum temperature -1 deg C.

There are yellow warning of ice for Wales in the following areas: Powys, Carmarthenshire, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhonnda Cynon Taff, Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan & Newport

Wednesday the wintry showers will gradually ease but staying cold, with the best of any sunshine likely later in the day.
