Rugby player sidelined because of size 21 feet
A rugby player from Carmarthenshire thought to have Britain's biggest feet has been sidelined because he can't find a new pair of size 21 boots.
Carl Griffiths is currently unable to play for his local club Trimsaran RFC after his boots, which had been held together with black sticky tape, fell apart.
The 22-year-old is so committed to the game that he has been playing in size 18 boots for the past three years - with his toes curled up in the ends.
He is now appealing for help to find a new pair of boots that fit, but every sports firm Carl has contacted has said they simply do not make boots as big as size 21.
Carl, who is 6ft 8in, did managed to get a quote for one pair of boots but the firm wanted well over £300.
He is now appealing for help to find a new pair of boots that fit so he can return to the field.
