Tributes paid to former HTV News presenter Steve Taylor
Friends and former colleagues of ex-HTV presenter Steve Taylor have paid tribute to him following his death at the age of 65.
Steve was a regular face on Wales at Six, Wales Tonight and other HTV and ITV Wales programmes for fourteen years.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
Steve began his career at the South Wales Argus, before moving to the BBC, where he presented Four-Five-Six on BBC Radio Wales.
In 1992 he joined HTV.
He became a familiar face presenting news and sports programmes, retiring in 2006.
Phil Henfrey, Head of News and Programmes at ITV Cymru Wales, described Mr Taylor as "an accomplished and fearless journalist with a distinctive style crafted over many decades in print, radio and television journalism".
