The Welsh Government is launching a television advert today, aimed at tackling domestic violence in Wales.

The 30-second clip, which will run during prime time television over Christmas, shows the effects abuse in the home can have on families, and especially children.

It hopes to encourage viewers watching peak-time shows to speak up if they suspect someone they know is suffering in silence.

The advert will run until December 31st and will appear in commercial breaks of popular programmes like This Morning, Coronation Street and the ITV news.
