Remember 'Caffi Gaerwen' - a pop hit of 1969?
'Caffi Gaerwen' was one of legendary singing duo Toni ac Aloma's most popular songs. It was a song about a 'Little Chef' cafe in the village of Gaerwen on Anglesey.
The women working there 'Pat and Janis and Elsi and Glen' are mentioned throughout the song. They were still working there in 1969 when Gwilym Owen visited a few weeks after the record was released.
