In pictures: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Welsh oil refinery and Wales v Australia match
the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a short visit to Wales today.
They started the day with a tour of the Valero Oil refinery in Pembrokeshire, before attending the Wales v Australia match at the Millennium Stadium.
Mike Griffiths reports.
It's been a difficult week for the local oil industry.
On Tuesday came the news that a deal to buy the Murco Refinery in Milford Haven had fallen through with the loss of hundreds of jobs.
But the Pembroke Refinery is celebrating its 50th year.
The site was opened by the Queen Mother in 1964.
The couple met a number of apprentices, as well as charities and local businesses.
The visit finished with the unveiling of a plaque, and a painting by a local artist.
There was also time for a present... a model oil truck for Prince George.
