Monk's wife in twitter outburst after fan's complaint letter
The wife of a Premier League football manager hit out on Twitter yesterday after an unhappy fan delivered a letter to their home criticising her husband's performance.
Lexy Blackwell, wife of Swansea City boss Garry Monk, said she was "incensed" that the fan called at their luxury home the day after the club were beaten by Liverpool.
She went on Twitter to tell the moaning fan, a neighbour of the couple, to become a football manager himself if he thought he could do any better.
The fan personally delivered the letter to the Monk's home in Swansea after the team lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
Lexy, who had twins earlier this year, upset Swansea fans last season by saying she 'hated' living in the Welsh seaside town after their home was targeted by thieves.
Lexy tweeted at the time: "I hate living in Swansea. I'd do anything for Garry to get a move."
But after fans reacted angrily she deleted the tweet and said sorry saying: "Apologies if I've offended anyone. It's my birthday, I'm 6 months pregnant with twins and hurt over what has happened/people being so nasty."
