Retired chambermaid becomes millionaire

A retired chambermaid has become a millionaire.

Mum-of-four Pauline Miller, 66, won £1m on the National Lottery having spent years cleaning hotel rooms for wealthy hotel guests.

Pauline worked as a chambermaid at The King's Head Hotel in Newport before hanging up her duster.

She is now looking forward to buying the three-bedroom rented house in Bettws, Newport, which has been the home of her husband John, 75, for the last 48 years.
