Ex-soldiers complete Pen y Fan challenge
A group of ex-servicemen have become the first people to climb Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons for 24 hours non-stop. They managed to scale the summit six times. Among them was Andrew Bull, who was blinded on duty in Belfast 30 years ago.
Andrew and the team did the challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of friend Ian Coombes who died of the disease.
They think they have now managed to raise up to ten thousand pounds for the charity, and say that while the challenge was tough, they are glad they did it.
