What's in the Nato Wales gift bag?

There were 26 Welsh suppliers who were invited to supply the gift bags filled with goodies.

Prime Minister David Cameron said the summit would use every opportunity to try and promote Welsh businesses and Welsh culture.

Secretary of State for Wales Stephen Crabb said the aim was to give the world an idea of what was on offer in Wales and the range of suppliers would boost Welsh businesses and promote international recognition.

The book "Wales 101" which has facts and figures galore about all things Welsh and Wales, including:

  • The World’s first £1million cheque was signed in Cardiff

  • Robert Recorde of Tenby invented the = (equals) sign

  • Wales is the first Fair Trade Nation

  • Canned beer was invented in Wales

  • Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is one of 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Wales

  • Eddie Bowen of Swansea invented artificial rain

  • The longest and fastest zip wire rides in Europe are in Bethesda, North Wales

There was also chocolate all the way from Trefforest.

There was also a dragon pin badge and a luxury Welsh slate coaster along with a letter from Wales' First Minister Carwyn Jones welcoming international media visitors and telling them what Wales had to offer.
