The jury at an inquest into the deaths of six Russian crewmen who died when their cargo ship sank off the North Wales coast has recorded a verdict of misadventure.

The Swanland had set off from Llanddulas heading to the Isle of Wight when she got into trouble off the Llyn Peninsula back in 2011.

Ian Lang reports.

The coroner also refered to an investigation by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch which had raised several issues surrounding the tragedy, but he said this was an international matter and not for the jury.
