'Rest in peace my darling': Mystery widower's love letter found in Welsh bus stop
A love note written by a mystery widower has been left at a bus stop where he met his wife 64 years ago. The letter was found at the bus shelter in Neath, South Wales with a bouquet of tulips left by the 86-year-old man.
The message to wife Joan read: "Rest in peace my darling. I’ll see you soon."
Local resident Simon Watkins found the flowers and note at the bus stop.
"I went to the bus station and there was a bunch of tulips tied to one of the benches in the shelter with a note attached to it" he said.
"It was such a poignant note and full of love for his wife."
