Another opening, another show!

Oh what excitement there's been this week at the Senedd!

First the announcement of Pinewood Studios opening a local branch in Wales. What fun! What opportunities! Maybe some of our Assembly Members will have the chance to develop a second career in the film industry.

Take the First Minister, with his laconic draping over the lectern! His easy manner and his distinguished grey hair. Who could be more perfect to step into the role of a biopic about Cary Grant?

And then there is Nick Ramsay. Cast to the Gods after the little matter of party ructions, now barely audible at the back of the theatre of politics that is the Senedd.

Project, dear boy, project!

And when it came to the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives (at the Assembly) to have his turn, there was a spontaneous outbreak of applause, of which he took his due.

There was a touch of Groundhog Day as Leanne Wood, the Leader of Plaid Cymru, returned to a favourite old classic - that of hospital reorganisation, a continuing story at First Minister's Questions.

Of course, its not just feature films that are important. What about serials? Kirsty Williams asked the First Minister what his definition was of serials. An interesting reply?
