The storms at the beginning of this year caused some very visible damage, particularly on the coast around Aberystwyth.

It's been confirmed that Ceredigion Council estimate that repairs will cost at least £1.5 million, with the final cost expected to be much higher.

Some of the damage done around Wales is only just coming to light.

This week, a cliff face has collapsed onto Rhossili Bay's beach whilst the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal needs emergency repairs after the persistent rain caused the embankment to slip away.
