First Minister's Questions
This week on First Minister's Questions, it was not surprising that all the party leaders chose the same issue to pitch questions about. And as you might expect given the controversy that flared up yesterday that subject was the Hywel Dda Health Board. Plaid Cymru leader, Leanne Wood was first off the blocks this week to quiz Carwyn Jones on the board's plans to prepare for the winter. As most winters bring increased demand , the board has been looking at how it might cope with any increased activity.Leanne Wood was concerned that this seemed to involve the postponement of certain operations. As often seems the case, there was a barrister in front of us, tinkering with words.
The Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, Kirsty Williams then got involved in a heated exchange with the FM about when exactly had he found out about Hywel Dda's plans for the winter.
Last to speak this week, was the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives , Andrew RT Davies.
He was quick to condemn the First Minister for what he called his attempts to '' sidestep and dismiss'' the serious implications of the board's plans
