Join ITV Cymru Wales at the Royal Welsh Show

Over the four days, ITV will be at the heart of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show in Builth Wells. In addition to nightly live news and weather reports from the showground, there will be a special hour-long highlights programme on ITV Cymru Wales and a number of special events open to members of the public.

News and programmes

Ruth Wignall will present the 6pm news from the showground, while our reporting team will be delivering live reports and packages.

Carl Edwards will be keeping an eye on the all-important weather for Wales during 'show week'.

On Thursday, Hannah Thomas will present 'The Show' highlights programme, providing a full round-up of the people, the events and the competitions that help to make the Royal Welsh Show Europe's biggest and most popular agricultural event.

The Hacio team will be getting the views of young people about some of the issues facing them in rural Wales, for an edition to be broadcast on Wednesday at 10pm on S4C.

Visitors are welcome to the ITV building at the showground, where promotions showing the best of ITV will be on view.

Tales from the Archives

Jonathan Hill in conversation with ITV Cymru Wales archivist Owain Meredith about the rich collection of television classics stored at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.

2.30pm-3.15pm

Premiere: Welsh Wreck of Gold

Join the audience for a special preview of a new ITV documentary series telling the dramatic story of the Royal Charter, which sank off Anglesey in the 1850s taking its cargo of gold to the seabed. The production is being distributed worldwide.
