World War Two bomber crash man's sister makes emotional visit to Brecon Beacons

The sister of an Canadian airman who died in a crash on the Brecon Beacons during the Second World War has made an emotional journey to the site where he died.

Wellington bomber MF-509 came down on Carreg Goch, at the foot of the Beacons, during a training exercise in November 1944.

The crew of six all died.

Now in her 80s, the sister of Bill Allison, the plane's bomb aimer, is visiting the site for the first time. Phyllis Burns was tracked down by the family of a local man who'd rescued one of the crew's photos in the days after the crash.
