We know what to expect from Norwich says Swans boss Michael Laudrup
Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup knows there's a big challenge ahead in the game against Norwich at Carrow Road. There's a lot at stake for both sides. Swansea, despite a fantastic season, seem becalmed with their 40 points and the position of ninth in the table.
Even now, Laudrup who doesn't lack ambition wants to reach 50 points and a place in the top ten of the league. That would be in anyone's eyes a creditable place to end this season.
But the Swans have hit a dry spell after three consecutive premier league defeats. And with Fulham lying only one point behind and a game in hand after beating QPR on Monday, Laudrup knows it's vital to grab at least one point against Norwich.
But Norwich themselves are struggling and the Swans can expect a very tough game.
Norwich may want the points but whether they get them will depend on key players like Jonathan de Guzman. Given that the Swans still have to take on the two Manchester sides and Chelsea before the end of the season, Norwich is beginning to look like a must win game.
A tough physical side, they have the accolade of being the team that has scored the most goals from set pieces in the premier.
De Guzman thinks a win at Carrow road is doable.
But there's good news for the Swans. Boss Michael Laudrup has confirmed that Neil Taylor is close to making the team after being out from injury. And Angel Rangel and Chico Flores are also fit in time for the clash.
