Swansea City v Newcastle United: Moore Swans power shoots down Toon
Luke Moore's first Premier League goal for a year helped Swansea City celebrate their Capital One triumph as Newcastle were beaten 1 nil at the Liberty Stadium.
The win edges the Swans closer to boss Michael Laudrup's 50 point target campaign but they had to wait until the last minutes of the match for Moore's decisive strike after coming on as a sub for Leon Britton some ten minutes earlier.
Swansea began brightly with Ashley Williams and Angel Rangel going close but after a goalless first half it looked like the euphoria of Wembley had taken its toll as the Toon hit the crossbar and forced a series of saves from home keeper Michael Vorm.
Sub Moore though rode to the rescue with his scuffed late winner to seal the points, leaving Newcastle boss Alan Pardew less than happy!
