Gwent Police search for HMP Prescoed absconders

Three convicted criminals who absconded from HMP Prescoed near Usk yesterday evening are being sought by Gwent police.

Stephen Booth, Jason Morris and John Phillips are each serving sentences for robbery.

  • Stephen Booth, 34, is 5ft 4 and of slim build with a brown goatee beard.

  • Jason Morris, 38, is 5ft 9 and of slim build, with brown hair, and several distinctive tattoos including names, a swallow and a heart.

  • John Phillips, 28, is described as of a slight build with black hair and a full beard.

Officers are advising members of the public not to approach any of the men if they see them.

Instead they are asking anyone with information to call the 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
