John Evans, originally from Goodwick, Pembrokeshire, was a Halifax pilot who was shot down over occupied Belgium in May 1944. John spent four months on the run with the resistance.

In the programme John remembers the Resistance people who saved his life and prepares for a first meeting with a German Luftwaffe ace.
